Valentina De Marchi will give a seminar on “Environmental Upgrading in Global Value Chains”. Valentina is Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics and Management ‘Marco Fanno’ at the University of Padova, where she teaches Strategy and Green Supply Chain Management. Her research focuses on environmental innovations and sustainability – focusing especially on their peculiarities with respect to other innovations in the way they are conceived and realised – and of the evolution of Italian industrial districts (IDs) within global value chains – with an industry focus on the gold jewellery and a geographical focus on the Veneto region.
