The COVID-19 pandemic has increased awareness of the strong connections between environment, health and economic dimensions. The “one health” concept defined by the World Health Organisation implies that policy measures need to consider interdependences and effects of choices on these connections. The seminar will start from some recent research results on the nexus between quality of air and COVID-19 deceases to illustrate policy strategies for sustainable development contributing to create good jobs and richness of sense of life ranging from green procurement, green government bonds, energy communities and measures fostering the development of circular economy.
