The need for sectoral collaboration in the garment industry: a practical example of Fair Wear

Jesse Bloemendaal will be the speaker of the talk “The need for sectoral collaboration in the garment industry: a practical example of Fair Wear” that will take place on the 20th of April 2023 at 2pm CET.

Jesse is member of the Fair Wear External Relations team since 2018 and is responsible for the coordination of the policy and advocacy tracks at international and European level. One of the aims of Fair Wear is to have a smart mix of measures that ensures decent working conditions for garment workers. As part of that mission, the organisation sees European due diligence legislation as an essential start of that smart mix. Jesse’s prior work experience includes positions in international trade & sustainable supply chain development and labour unions.
