New Prize: A nested error regression model with high-dimensional parameter for small area estimation
The 2024 Hukum Chandra Memorial Prize selection committee unanimously agreed to award Dr. Nicola Salvati, University of Pisa, for his paper: “A nested error regression model with high-dimensional parameter for small area estimation” (with Partha Lahiri).
The committee was impressed by the quality and scientific rigour of the paper and the quality
of Nicola Salvati’s CV.
