There is an open discussion and active debate as to whether and under what conditions multinationals make meaningful contributions to sustainable development. The Covid-19 pandemic has made this issue even more salient, as multinationals face great uncertainty about their future activities, while stakeholders have increased demands for new business models and transformative outcomes. In this context, EIBA has organized an Oxford-style debate in which two groups take opposing views on the following motion: Multinationals will make meaningful contributions to post-Pandemic sustainable development. It is possibile participate and interact with the panelists on this motion at the Closing Plenary Debate.
