Luciano Ciravegna

INCAE Business School

Luciano Ciravegna is a full professor at INCAE Business School, where he teaches courses in the areas of Marketing and Strategy. He is also Director of the Steve Aronson Chair of Agribusiness and Sustainability at this business school. He holds a PhD in Development Studies from the London School of Economics (2008) and an MPhil Economics and Politics of Latin America, University of Oxford, St Antony’s College (2003).

His main research interest is focused on business in emerging markets, especially the role of context on firm strategy, internationalization, and performance.

His research appears in leading peer reviewed academic journals, such as the Journal of International Business Studies, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, the Journal of Business Research, World Development, International Journal of Innovation Management, the Journal of Development Studies, the International Journal of Production Research, and the Journal of Latin American Studies.

He collaborates with the International Business and Human Rights focus area on specific paper projects.
