Background

Giuseppe Ragusa is Associate Professor at Università La Sapienza in Rome. He has been Associate Professor of Economics at the Univerity of Pisa. He holds a Phd in Economics from the University of California in the US (2005). Prior to joining the University of Pisa, Giuseppe has been Assistant Professor at Rutgers University; University of California, Irvine, and Luiss University. He has been Senior Economist at the European Central Bank.

Research Interests

His research interests include microeconometrics, time series, economic forecasting, approximate bayesian inference, and machine learning applications to economics and finance.

His work has been published in several international journals, including the Journal of Monetary Economics, Journal of Econometrics, Review of Economics and Statistics.
