Business and Human Rights in the Extractive Industry

Flaviano Bianchini will give a talk on business and human rights focusing on the case of Cerro de Pasco, a city of Peru, hit by serious problems linked with environmental pollution related to mining extraction activities that are hurting  80,000 people.

Flaviano is founder and member of Source International, an organization that works with communities facing environmental pollution issues and health problems, especially related to extractive industries, proving scientific and technical support completely free of charge to the communities to assess the environmental damage of their resources in order to promote restorative actions.

The talk will be in Room A2, Nuovo Polo Piagge, from 10.30 to 12 on Tuesday 10th of April. All wellcome!
